This product did not do what I expected it to do which was to amplify softly spoken dialog and/or decrease the volume of loud dialog so we could hear all dialog comfortably. I do not use it anymore.

Not sure about this product. It worked at first, but after about a month the same old thing began happening....Music and commercials are louder than the talking on the show. It might now be the fault of the product, but rather the Cable company or the transition between HD and regular TV. Anyway, I am not sure.

Sound was more even with this item, but it wasn't consistent from channel to channel. Still had to use the volume on the remote to adjust sound. Returned item.

The controller seems to work well for RCA connections, but has no ports for HDMI connections. I think it has helped, but without the HDMI ports, it is only partially effective.

If you are sick and tired of the TV volume going to double the volume when they switch from your program to commercials, then you need this product. I have now installed one on two of our TV's and it does a great job of maintaining a spteady volume all the time. I highly recommend this item to anyone. It is simple to install and comes with power supply and all cables needed.
