The Leapfrog LF-30S from Terk Technologies is a wireless transmitter/receiver system that eliminates the need--and the expense--of running extra wires from room to room in order to enjoy your audio/video entertainment from multiple in-home locations. Using the system's IR blaster, you can even control your first-room components from your second-room locations. It's as good as having two or more of everything. By transmitting across the 2.4 GHz frequency band, the LF-30S gives you the clearest possible signal with a range of up to a 150 feet. The Leapfrog's signals penetrate walls, doors, ceilings, and floors with no interference. Multiple channel selection lets you select the best possible signal from four different channels. The LF-30S is easy to install, requiring no tools for setup. A built-in modulator ensures easy connections with any TV, either new or old. The LF-30S system is expandable, too: with the purchase of additional receivers, you can use it with multiple TVs or other components throughout your home. I replaced a set of LF-20 receiver/transmitters that were 7 years old. The new LF-30 set is working great. The antennas are connected by a durable attachment. They are used to connect a kitchen LCD HD TV to our main satellite box. The picture is much clearer than the old set of LF-20's. I would recommend these to anyone wanting to expand a TV viewing setup.

I purchased TERK LF-30 S wireless A/V transmitter and receiver system to watch satellite programming in my bedroom from the satellite receiver in living room. Unfortunately, 1.Remote control doesn't work as it should. I was forced to bye indepentent remote control system from Radiochack 2. Strong interference from 4.9GHz home telephone system 3. Unlike its Radiochack version, LF-30 S doesn't have S-cable connector.

This product is not usable. While watching video or listening to audio, don't even think about turning on your microwave; the staic is unbearable. And it interferred with my RF TV remote to the point where I could not change channels. Product returned to vendor.

This video sender works great -- until you or a neighbor turn on a microwave oven or use a cordless phone. Then the TV picture you're receiving with this device will show constant signs of interference: black bars, flashes of light, snow, you name it. NOT recommended for apartment building residents. I tried to use the device last night around 11pm watching TV in my bathroom while conducting my endless dental regimen. At that hour, apparently half of NYC is busy making their late-night "booty calls", and the interference in the picture was non-stop. As others have said, you will also have to turn off your computer's wireless router and postpone any cordless phone conversations while the sender is in use. We can only hope that as technology opens new frequency spectra, the 2.4 GHz frequency will get quieter as early adopters migrate to higher land... In the meantime, I have to consider this Terk video sender a disappointment.

This works as advertised. I use it on a sat.rec. from a basement to upstairs. It is a little more directional than I would like, but with a little fiddling I got a good, clean, noise free signal.
