If you currently have a stand attached to your LCD TV this is usually removed prior to fitting the wall mount and 4 holes should be revealed. If your TV has VESA 400x200 or 600x400, this mount does not fit. You need a mount with larger TV plate. Please make sure what mount your TV needs before you place order. I got this mount for a 19" LCD. For single stud mounting you only have to use the three holes going down the middle of the wall plate. It is very sturdy. The tilt mechanism was VERY tight, but I loosened the nut on the back side of the tilt plate and it works fine. Great mount, get one

Overall I was impressed with this mount, especially considering the price. It folds nicely against the wall when you want it out of the way and has enough flexibility to angle the display where you want it. I was a bit concerned at first with the notion of having the tv on the end of what seemed a narrow arm, but it holds fine. My only real complaints are in the mounting. Attaching the mount to the wall is simple, but you have to attach the tv to the entire mount, then hang the mount on the wall. We had a 32" lcd so it wasn't too bad with my son an I. But anything larger would have been a pain. The other issue is that to adjust the tilt requires a tool to loosen and tighten the adjusting bolt.

This mount is well constructed but for my tv is a little weak. My TV is a flat panel that weights approx 59lbs, the description says it works for 66lbs max. So thinking on the cushion of 6 lbs I installed but it seems very weak on that weigh. For my TV I needed an adapter I also bought from amazon since the hole on the back were 400x400mm (40x40cm). This adapter was not close to the 40x40 so I had to really make an effort forcing the back of the TV to install it. Overall it works but is not the ideal for my case.

Simple, sturdy mount. I will have to wait and see how well it wears as I pull my flat screen back and forth from the wall and adjust the viewing angle -- the tilt, swivel and articulating arm are all simple friction joints that appear better suited for a set-it-once-and-leave-it-alone type of set-up.

Bought and installed in bedroom.Articulated it away and angled down from the wall. Now I have a nice angle from my bed.Took just 20min to install.
