This is THE remote to end all remotes. My husband absolutely LOVES it. It is Extremely easy to program unlike others. You can function more than just the TV, DVD, cable box etc. with it too. expensive ,yes, but worth it especially for the man that has everything. Its nice that it has a rechargeable battery and battery cradle too so you dont have to constantly buy batteries. Definetly recommend it!!!!

This is a product for anyone who needs to juggle 3, 4, or 5 remotes to get components to behave. There are less costly remotes that, in my opinion, are not worth the added hassle to make them work. It's worth the extra cost. I'm sort of a geek, so I appreciate the PC-based method to program the device. To me this makes a lot of sense since any component devices or settings not loaded to the product CD can be accessed from Logitech online (CD players, Bluray DVDs, TVs, set-top boxes). The user plugs the Logitech into a USB port, sets the configuration, then downloads to the remote. If a component fails to respond to a command, the HELP on the remote is easy to use and actually WORKS to rectify the problem! Lastly my wife, who is not a geek at all, likes the remote because it reduced the mind-numbing confusion she faced to make different components coordinate. jp

This is an incredible product and I would highly recommend a purchase. I've never reviewed an item before but the awesomeness of this remote prompted me. I set the remote up in less than the 30 minutes recommended with ease. My setup included a TV, DVD tuner and TIVO. Everything configured perfectly - including the first generation TIVO with a broken remote. (Hence the need for the new remote.) This remote is rechargable - no batteries!! I am "the wife" and resent any other reviews that imply a woman cannot setup or appreciate this product. It works like a dream - turning on and resetting the devices accordingly. Can't wait to show my husband how to use it. :-)

This is the perfect gift for a guy who wants to control everything at his fingertips. It comes with a disc that you hook up the remote to all your stereo/dvd/tv, even xbox by inputting it to your computer. Very easy, and very impressive!

This is a great product for anyone looking for a do-all remote control. The setup is easy and using the product is no problem at all. It learns all the functions of your old remotes. The activity/macro feature is great for setting up all your normal day-to-do viewing activities. It even comes with it's own charging cradle which is a great feature to save on batteries. The only problem I have with the remote is that I am kind of a neat freak, and the touchscreen is a fingerprint magnet. But, that is easily fixable with any soft cloth. And if that is the biggest problem this remote has, I think everyone can live with that.
