I bought these in April to output from a 40324 - 3-Play Component Video Digital Audio Selector to my LED TV. The cables stopped working in July (specifically, the blue component line stopped working, so the video was only in greens and reds). There's no physical damage to the cable; it just seems that they failed...maybe poor construction. It's disappointing that the cables didn't last longer.

when i got it i was amazed how thick and sturdy this was. I was expecting thinly wires but these were very thick and strong

I bought these component cables for my new LCD tv to be used with an existing DVD player. To be frank, the cables are crap. When watching anything using the DVD player the show/movie is streaky, flashes white lines in and out, and looks no better than a simple AV cable. After discovering this, I hooked the DVD player up to the same TV using an AV cable and the image was fine, therefore ruling out the TV as being the problem. Needless to say, I'm disappointed in the cables and plan on trying to return them. Buy another brand.
