I bought these headphones to watch TV at night so as not to disturb anyone. The sound is crisp and clear. The only time I hear static is if I walk out of range or someone walks in front of the receiver. For the price you can't beat it. I bought the extra headphone set so my kids can watch TV in the family room and I can listen to the radio in the kitchen.

Light Weight, Comfortable, excellent sound quality. full range of sound adjustment. Not total sound isolation.

I bought a less expensive version called TV Listener from Dr.Leonards which has WONDERFUL comfortable earphones but did not work correctly ie. and had TONS of static, so I ordered this version. It works wonderfully, the receiver is flat and can be placed inconspicuously near the TV(unlike the mini-towers other systems come with) and it works beautifully! However, the headphones are not very ergonomic and are quite heavy. You will find that after wearing them your ears will be a bit sore. Hopefully, they will improve the headphone design soon.

This is a good TV listening system for the hard of hearing or other similar uses. In this case I mistook the TX777 for the TV777 and would be careful recognizing the entire system from the earphones only.

Great for late night viewing of TV without disturbing others in surrounding rooms. However, Need to find a source for replacement ear cushions.
