does the job
Nothing fancy but it gets the job done. I use it to mount a 17" Sony monitor and it works just fine.
Holds the TV
This bracket is good at what it does - it's low-profile, easy to mount, and holds the TV just fine (provided you screw the bracket into a stud). It also tilts, but it's not super-simple - you have to hold the TV steady (and straight) while tightening the bolts that hold the sliding part in place - these are in the two-inch space between the TV and the wall, and are not easy to tighten - I had to use two six-inch extensions and a flexi-extension in order to do it. I was sort of hoping I'd be able to tilt the TV up and down whenever I wanted, but since it's such a pain I locked it in a middle-of-the-road configuration and plan to leave it there. Since then, it's been holding the TV like a champ. No complaints there.
It's brilliance is it's simplicity
After looking at different mounts I couldn't figure out why they were so expensive. Then I found this on Amazon for almost 1/4 the price of others. It's simplicity is what makes this truly a bargain....and the price is an added bonus. Easy to assemble and mount, it did exactly what I wanted. I wasn't mounting a big heavy TV, just a light 32" plasma, so the other mounts were extreme overkill.
nice peerless mount
this mount is real sturdy and solid. no one reviewed it for a 37" LG lcd tv so im going to. the mount came with everything needed and took about 20mins to mount not counting getting tools together. well worth the money. it came with the adapter plate for a vesa 200x200 tv. but there is a fall back on this mount. it says "tilting at the turn of a screw." well thats not the case. i had to put 2 6" extensions on my rachet to tighten the screws. but thats not a real good down fall not to buy the mount. it looks really good and real strong. if u want go for it, i did.
GOOD MOUNT, SOLID
Good solid mount for smaller tv's Check prices though, because best buy had similar mounts on their site for less money
