Well made
I used this to attach my Revo Aspire One to the back of my 37" TV. Worked like a charm. They give you plenty of screws of all different types and some spacers as well. Kinda pricey, but it seems very well made and is worth the money. Directions are pretty sparse, but it's pretty easy to figure out.
It did the job
I purchased this LCD adapter plate to attach my Samsung 26" TV to my Premier Mounts AM2 wall mount. The plate is well made and includes various screws to mount to different TV's. It's worth $19 in order to mount the TV to the excellent Premier Mounts AM2 Swing-Out Arms For 17-Inch to 40-Inch LCD Screens (Silver) wall mount.
comes with a nice collection of screws
I wasn't sure if this was going to come with screws or not. Turns out it includes a well-labelled packet of M4, M5, and M6 screws, each in a few lengths, as well as washers for the M4s and M5s, four nylon spacers, and a little straw to help check the depth of mounting holes. I'm using the bracket to attach a nettop with VESA 75 holes to a TV with VESA 100 holes, and this was perfect.
It's a metal plate
It's an adapter plate, it adapts. My only complaint is that it should have been included with the swing arm mount it is made to work with as this is the most common mount pattern for TV's today.
Did the trick...
I use a monitor on a swing arm at work. I just upgraded my monitor though and the swing arm would only accommodate a 75mm Vesa monitor. My new monitor was 200mm Vesa. So, it was either by a new ($200-$300) swing arm or find an alternative. These adapter plates are outrageously expensive for what you get, but this one from Amazon was by far the cheapest available. The plate is very sturdy and seems to work just fine. The plate comes with a bunch of different sized metric screws. However, I needed a length just in between the ones included, so I had to make a trip to Home Depot. I didnt deduct a star for this since most people probably wont have to do this. Once I got the screws I needed (make sure you get metric if you need to buy your own), I got it installed fairly easily. Even though it should have been a two man job to be safe, I got it installed without incident all by myself. All the holes lined up perfectly and so far it seems to be working like a charm. If an adpater plate is your only alternative for mounting a monitor or TV, this is probably your best option. Watch out for other places that sell the same thing a little cheaper but gouge you big time on shipping!!
