Ok when i saw this i was thinking this must be a typo or something because i went to radio shack and they wanted over 30$ and her just over 4$ and few for s/h i say buy it here save your money,this coupler works great now i can move my ps3 anywhere i want i will never deal with radio shack again they tryed to tell me there no such thing as a female to female coupler ....wow if your looking to tie two hdmi cables for a big room you need this coupler

I have a DVI to HDMI cable running from my computer and a DVI to HDMI cable from my projector... I wanted to use this coupler to connect my computer to the projector- but the signal was all garbled and as you moved the coupler the hues would shift from green to red. Either the coupler itself was bad or there is a problem connecting two mixed-mode cables together. Possibly going from DVI to HDMI back to DVI was the problem. It may work fine connecting two plain HDMI to HDMI cables; all I know is that it didn't work for me.

I need to add some more length to a HDMI cable and this product did this without any problems or degrading. Good price for a common needed fix.

It works great. I needed a longer cable length than I could buy. I bought two cables and connected them together with this coupler.

Works as expected and the fit is tight enough that I do not have to worry about the ends sliding out unintentionally. Could not ask for more. I use it to extend a stiff 25' hdmi cable by another 6.5' cable AmazonBasics High-Speed HDMI Cable (6.5 Feet/2.0 Meters) [Amazon Frustration-Free Packaging] that it much, much thinner and therefore less "in the way" at my desk.
