Good controller; almost a must if you have a PS3. Control is by bluetooth, not infared, so it is kind of odd and fun to not have to point it towards the TV or PS3. Sony layout is not real intuitive; need to learn it; for example, "X" is the select.

Although you can do pretty much everything with the controller for all those who use the PS3 for the BD player this remote is very useful. I bought during a sale for $14.99 at amazon. There are other remotes (non Sony) for less than $10.00.

Disappointed with this remote. The buttons are so small and the print is nearly impossible to read. There is no "off" button, so to turn the PS3 off you need to go to the box.

This works great on the PS3 for controlling the PS3 for Movies etc... The only this is we now have 4+ remotes that we have to keep track of. I can't wait to get one of the Universal remotes but, of course, Sony PS3 isn't compatible due to the ir? Well, It works very well for now, maybe a great engineer will come up with an adaptor or firmware for such a thing. Wishful thnking right? Amazon was Fab as usual, getting it to me in 1 day.
